Basketball Recap: Pulaski County Find Success

Pulaski County got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They secured a 47-43 W over the Christiansburg Blue Demons on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pulaski County's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Christiansburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Pulaski County and Christiansburg could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Pulaski County (ranked 277th) will meet Patrick Henry (ranked 94th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Christiansburg (ranked 267th) will meet Cave Spring (ranked 124th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
