Softball Recap: Spring Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against J.L. Mann on Monday, Spring Valley came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 7-2 to the Blythewood Bengals on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-3 loss back in March.

Spring Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Blythewood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

As of now, neither Spring Valley nor the Bengals have any future games scheduled.
