Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Wins Going Away Against Northwestern

Rock Hill barely beat Northwestern the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bearcats blew past the Trojans 3-0 on Tuesday. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Rock Hill was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-18.

Hannah Anderson paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up 11 kills. Anderson got some help from Ella Lesslie and her 16 assists. Gracie Schneider controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rock Hill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Northwestern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Hill will head out to challenge Catawba Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwestern, they will venture away from home to square off against York at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
