Cleveland waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the McMinn County Cherokees 68-36. The Blue Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Lauren Hurst went supernova for Cleveland, as she made all 10 shots she took to post 22 points and three steals. What's more, Hurst also racked up three boards, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Laney Copeland was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Cleveland has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for McMinn County, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Cleveland will challenge Rhea County at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. McMinn County has already played their next game (against Meigs County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
