Basketball Recap: Marietta Takes a Loss

Marietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 80-30 loss at the hands of the Dickson Comets. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Comets are ranked 147th).

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Dickson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7.

Marietta will take on Madill at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Dickson has already played their next matchup (against Sulphur), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
