Basketball Recap: Wendover Comes Up Short

After flying high against Altamont on Friday, Wendover came back down to earth. The Wendover Wildcats fell to the Tintic Miners 65-61. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Miners earlier this season, when they won 61-55.

Wendover has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Tintic, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Wendover nor Tintic have any future games scheduled.
