Football Recap: Welch Comes Up Short

Welch scored first but ultimately less than Cave Springs in their match on Friday. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Wildcats were up 22-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Joseph Clinton threw for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Colton Moss was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and two TDs.

Welch is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Cave Springs, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
