Dixon is 3-0 against North Boone since September of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses will head out to take on the North Boone Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Dixon's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Tuesday, Dixon sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Genoa-Kingston. The Dukes & Duchesses wouldn't have won without Jayvian Herwig, who scored the game-winner.
Meanwhile, North Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Byron. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.
Dixon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for North Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
