Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sacred Heart-Griffin). They were the clear victor by a 62-36 margin over the Springfield Southeast Spartans on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cyclones have posted against the Spartans since March 9, 2021.

Sacred Heart-Griffin's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Springfield Southeast, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart-Griffin will venture away from home to challenge MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield Southeast, they will head out on the road to face off against East St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
