Bartlett Yancey can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the North Moore Mustangs by a score of 5-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge game for the Buccaneers: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Tuesday, they had to take a 7-2 defeat.

Bartlett Yancey's record is now 3-8. As for North Moore, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Coming up, Bartlett Yancey will square off against Southeast Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast Alamance's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Bartlett Yancey's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Moore, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The O'Neal School at 4:00 p.m. on April 9. The O'Neal School has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.44 runs per game on average), something North Moore will no doubt try to take advantage of.
