Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Calvary Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Calvary Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-11, 25-11, 25-13.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Calvary Christian Academy will take on Halifax Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Warner Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
