Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Hawks vs. York Falcons        
        
		
             Oakwood won the last time they faced York, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Oakwood Hawks were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the York Falcons. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Hawks.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18,  25-11.
 Oakwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Gianna Garcia, who  had 14  digs, five  kills, three  aces,  and two  blocks. That's the most  aces  Garcia has posted  in her last four  matches.  Ella Gutierrez was another key player,  getting 12  digs, four  aces,  and three  kills.
 Oakwood  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in 13 consecutive  contests.
 Oakwood is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season. As for York,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Oakwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for York,  it'll be Battle of the Birds when  Falcons challenges Anzar at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
