Basketball Recap: Dysart Takes a Loss

Dysart played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 93-24 loss at the hands of the Estrella Foothills Wolves. The Demons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-14.

Estrella Foothills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eva Amenhauser out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Amenhauser is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Chanel Yellowman, who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten assists, and ten steals.

Dysart's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Estrella Foothills, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Dysart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-46 loss against Buckeye on the 3rd. As for Estrella Foothills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 68-14 win against Copper Canyon on the 3rd.
