Football Recap: Hanna Comes Up Short

Hanna lost against San Benito back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Eagles lost 34-13 to the Greyhounds. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Hanna took the loss, they still got scores from Davy Angiano and Austin Reyes.

Hanna's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for San Benito, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hanna will challenge rival Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, San Benito is set to square off against their familiar foe Los Fresnos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
