John Carroll came tearing into Friday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Indian Creek Eagles by a score of 48-41.

Despite the defeat, Indian Creek saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Stephanie Bunker dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Ofundem Mbelem, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

John Carroll pushed their record up to 14-3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Indian Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
