Volleyball Recap: Nevada Union Snags 12th Victory in Last 15 Games + How To Watch

Nevada Union won the last time they faced Yuba City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Miners put the hurt on the Honkers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Nevada Union walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nevada Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Val Ramirez, who had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Ramirez has posted over her last six contests.

Dessa McDonald and Alex Ramos certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. McDonald had 11 digs and two aces, while Ramos had 11 digs.

Nevada Union has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-17 record this season. As for Yuba City, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13.

Nevada Union and Yuba City are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Miners will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oakmont at 6:00 p.m. As for Yuba City, they will venture away from home to take on Christian Brothers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
