Soccer Recap: Kofa Takes a Loss

Kofa's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cibola Raiders. The Kings haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Kofa now has a losing record at 6-7-2. As for Cibola, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-5-1.

Kofa will host Palo Verde Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palo Verde Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.3 goals per game this season. As for Cibola, they are taking a road trip to take on Gila Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Gila Ridge has won five straight at home, while Cibola won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
