After a string of ten wins, Jefferson's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Oconee County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Jefferson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Addison Headley, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Annabelle Pritchard, who had five assists and three digs.

Oconee County was led to victory by Cameron Webb and Annabelle (AB) Cureton. Webb had ten digs and two aces, while Cureton had seven digs. That's the most digs Cureton has posted over her last 12 matches.

Jefferson's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 23-8. As for Oconee County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-10.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against West Hall on the 25th. As for Oconee County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Newnan on the 27th.
