Baseball Recap: Hudson Hawks vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors
Nipmuc Regional hit Hudson with a seven-run seventh inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 7-5. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Hudson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Freitas, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Anthony Moura, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

As for Nipmuc Regional, they will take on Blackstone Valley RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Beavers at the right time seeing as the Beavers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
