It was a good run, but Jo Byrns unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 64-57 to the Clay County Bulldogs. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Jo Byrns' loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Clay County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Jo Byrns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clay County, they will take on Pickett County on Thursday. Clay County has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
