Meanwhile, Ransom Everglades entered their tilt with Coral Shores with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Ransom Everglades strolled past Coral Shores with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 37-18.
Ransom Everglades' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nica Rosenberg led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Rosenberg scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriela Pena, who scored nine points along with 20 rebounds and five steals.
Divine Savior Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ransom Everglades, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Thursday's matchup is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Divine Savior Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 28.5 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Ransom Everglades, though, as they've been averaging only 34.5 rebounds per game. Given Divine Savior Academy's sizeable advantage in that area, Ransom Everglades will need to find a way to close that gap.
