Recap: Laramie Plainsmen vs. Sheridan Broncs

On Saturday, the Laramie Plainsmen faced the Sheridan Broncs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Laramie lost to Sheridan on the road by a decisive 52-36 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Laramie of the 63-54 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Despite the loss, Laramie still got an impressive performance from Addison Forry, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylin Shipman, who scored ten points.

Laramie's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-6. As for Sheridan, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Laramie will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against East at 5:00 p.m. on February 15th. East will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Laramie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sheridan, they will be playing at home against Campbell County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
