Baseball Recap: Greece Olympia Comes Up Short

Greece Olympia entered their game against Batavia on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Spartans came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 14-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Greece Olympia and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Batavia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Greece Olympia will head out to square off against Bloomfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Batavia, they will host Greece Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
