Soccer Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kennedy of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Waterbury Career Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennedy will take on rival Wolcott at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Waterbury Career Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Wilby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
