Timberline took a 26-point defeat the last time they faced off against Ridgevue, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Timberline Wolves skirted past the Ridgevue Warhawks 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since December 21, 2024.

Ridgevue's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Javonte Boles, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Tiddens, who scored 17 points.

Timberline's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Ridgevue, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
