Baseball Game Preview: Litchfield Terriers vs. Waldron Spartans

The Litchfield Terriers will take on the Waldron Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Litchfield will be strutting in after a win while Waldron will be coming in after a defeat.

25 must be Litchfield's lucky number: they beat Bellevue with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Terriers beat the Broncos by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 25-10. The victory continues a trend for the Terriers in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Waldron came up short against Camden-Frontier two weeks ago, falling 12-6. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost seven in a row.

The win got Litchfield back to even at 2-2. As for Waldron, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Litchfield's way against Waldron in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Litchfield made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Terriers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
