Baseball Recap: Chiles Find Success

While Chiles put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for North Florida Christian. The Timberwolves came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 4-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 back in February.

The team relied heavily on Jack Neely, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Lawson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Chiles' victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for North Florida Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Chiles has already played their next game, an 8-7 defeat against Mosley on the 16th. As for North Florida Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-1 win against Wakulla Christian School on the 15th.
