Basketball Recap: Reserve Takes a Loss

Reserve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 91-31 defeat at the hands of the Springer Red Devils. The Mountaineers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.

Reserve's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Springer, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Reserve will venture away from home to square off against Hozho Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hozho Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Reserve likes a good challenge. As for Springer, they will be taking part in a tournament against Animas at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
