Soccer Recap: Chelan Takes a Loss

Chelan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Manson Trojans who were credited with the win. The Manson Trojans got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Chelan Mountain Goats' three. Chelan were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Manson apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Chelan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Manson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Chelan will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty Bell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Manson, they are taking a road trip to take on Okanogan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Okanogan will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Manson surely won't give up without a fight.
