He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Looking ahead, Powell and David Emanuel Academy will head out on the road to take on Sherwood Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
