Basketball Recap: Spring Hill Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

Spring Hill waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 46-27 win over the Baldwin Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Spring Hill pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Baldwin, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Spring Hill and Eudora will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another on January 3, 2025. Eudora's defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Spring Hill's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Baldwin, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tonganoxie at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
