Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mount Morris two weeks ago, Perry came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Pembroke Dragons on Monday, falling 7-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Yellowjackets were not able to get on the board.

Perry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beau Solcum, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Pembroke, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-9 defeat against Geneseo on the 23rd. As for Pembroke, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-7 win against Webber on the 22nd.
