Helias owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Francis Borgia Knights 1-0. The Crusaders were shut out 5-0 the last time they took on the Knights, so the Crusaders were just returning the favor.

The victory made it two in a row for Helias and bumps their season record up to 5-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for St. Francis Borgia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Helias will square off against Blair Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Francis Borgia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Pius X at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
