Baseball Recap: Timberline Find Success

Timberline proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 14) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Boise Brave 3-2. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Brave, too.

Seth Dallolio spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Stanley Jensen, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Timberline is undefeated when Jensen posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-9 otherwise.

The win got Timberline back to even at 9-9. As for Boise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Timberline will challenge rival Borah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Boise is set to face off against their familiar foe Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
