Basketball Recap: Richland Springs Takes a Loss

If Richland Springs was riding high fresh off their 86-49 takedown of Brookesmith last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Richland Springs Coyotes took a 69-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Zephyr Bulldogs on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-55 back in December of 2024.

Richland Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Zephyr, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Priddy the next time they take the court. Zephyr will host Priddy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Richland Springs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
