Basketball Recap: Charlotte Christian Comes Up Short

Charlotte Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers, falling 74-54. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Knights, who fell 63-60 when the teams last met back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Charlotte Christian still got an impressive performance from Jack Schonberg, who went 6 of 7 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Eric Lyon, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Charlotte Country Day School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Davonta Dj Lindsey out in front who posted 14 points. Nick Diaz was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Charlotte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Charlotte Country Day School, their record is now 12-9.
