Volleyball Recap: Cactus Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Cactus had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the McClintock Chargers.

Faith Connell was the offensive standout of the match as she had four aces and two assists. Those four aces gave her a new career-high.

Connell wasn't the only good server: Cactus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Cactus' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for McClintock, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cactus beat the Chargers by a score of 2-0 later that day.
