Volleyball Recap: Dimond's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dimond waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Bartlett Golden Bears by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 21-25, 25-13.

Anayah Sila paced Dimond's offense, picking up 16 kills. Sila got some help from Puao Asailevai and her 24 assists. Asailevai was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Dimond's victory bumped their record up to 20-9-1. As for Bartlett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-27-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dimond is set to square off against their familiar foe West Anchorage at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bartlett will challenge rival Chugiak at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
