Nimitz extended their postseason success on Thursday against Cypress Ranch. They took down the Cypress Ranch Mustangs 51-36. The win was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Nimitz had a senior duo take command as Chloe Williams went 5-for-10 to rack up 16 points and Aniah Richard posted 14 points and seven assists. Richard has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Cypress Ranch lost, don't look at Averie Steele. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 23 points and 21 boards. The dominant performance gave Steele a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Audriana Kobina, who had eight points and seven boards.

Nimitz's victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Cypress Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 25-9.
