After flying high against South Harrison on Tuesday, St. Joseph Christian came back down to earth. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Bishop LeBlond Eagles on Saturday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

St. Joseph Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bishop LeBlond, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, St. Joseph Christian and Bishop LeBlond will both be playing Excelsior Springs the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Tigers at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
