After a string of six wins, Saint Jo's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the All S Saints, falling 66-46. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Saints are ranked 135th).

Saint Jo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for All S, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Saint Jo and Brownfield will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for All S, they will welcome Midland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
