Alexander Pearson turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Oregon City on Tuesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Pearson also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Tigard is 4-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 6-9-1 otherwise.

Pearson's effort led Tigard over Oregon City and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
