Volleyball Recap: Mt. Whitney Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mt. Whitney was the 3-1 winner over Farmersville when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell just short of the Aztecs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Whitney took Farmersville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 15-6.

Mt. Whitney now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Farmersville, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Mt. Whitney will take on Kingsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Farmersville, they will head out on the road to face off against Granite Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
