Recap: Babcock Trailblazers vs. Sarasota Military Academy Eagles
The Babcock Trailblazers's game on Friday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sarasota Military Academy. Babcock can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their four games.
Babcock's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jameson Habing, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Nathan Allen who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds. Habing scored a full 40.4% of Babcock's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Archie Swenson was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Babcock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sarasota Military Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Babcock will head out on the road to face off against Mason Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Mason Classical Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Sarasota Military Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
