Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). They blew past the Gregori Jaguars 13-2 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

St. Joseph got a massive performance out of Emma Cruddas, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and one run. Those five RBI gave Cruddas a new career-high. Annalyssa Cota was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

St. Joseph hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gregori struck out nine times.

St. Joseph has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. The Knights will square off against Mission College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (32 vs. 350). Meanwhile, Gregori (ranked 387th) will meet Downey (ranked 1099th) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
