Softball Recap: Pocono Mountain East Takes a Loss

Pocono Mountain East fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Southern Lehigh on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 9-8. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to the Spartans when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pocono Mountain East's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-11-2. As for Southern Lehigh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

As of now, neither Pocono Mountain East nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
