Basketball Recap: Brantley County Herons vs. Worth County Rams
Brantley County was the 58-39 winner over Worth County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Brantley County Herons fell 62-53 to the Worth County Rams on Tuesday.
ASHTON WILLIAMS continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Worth County, going 6 for 14 to rack up 25 points along with seven steals and six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which WILLIAMS has scored at least a third of Worth County's points. Another player making a difference was JAMES RAYMOND, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Brantley County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season. As for Worth County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.
