Volleyball Recap: Covenant Christian Chargers vs. Caledonia Fighting Scots
Covenant Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Caledonia Fighting Scots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.
Caledonia found their leader in underclassman Avery Seif, who had seven digs and two aces.
Covenant Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18-1. As for Caledonia, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8-1.
Covenant Christian will take on Western Michigan Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Caledonia has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Byron Center on the 5th.
