Soccer Recap: Harry S. Truman Comes Up Short

After flying high against Academy Park on Friday, Harry S. Truman came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 5-0 to the Neshaminy Skins on Monday. While losing is never fun, Harry S. Truman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 527th, while Neshaminy are ranked 202nd).

Harry S. Truman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season. As for Neshaminy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-5.

Looking ahead, Harry S. Truman will face off against Council Rock North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Neshaminy, they will head out on the road to square off against Bensalem at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neshaminy will be up against Bensalem's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.06 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
