The Blanchard Lions will challenge the Tuttle Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blanchard has given up an average of 31.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
It was a proper cat-fight when Blanchard took on Ardmore on Thursday. The Lions fell 33-25 to the Tigers.

Blanchard's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Smith, who threw for 228 yards and one touchdown, and Cole Watkins, who picked up 114 receiving yards and one score. Watkins' receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 114 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Tuttle strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 70-6 win over Tecumseh. With the Tigers ahead 49-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Tuttle's win came from a few key players Blanchard will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Shawn Rounsaville Jr, who rushed for 130 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Carter Vanauken, who rushed for 145 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.
Tuttle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 320 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Tuttle, adding 16 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Donnie Schluter, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Tuttle's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Blanchard, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Blanchard has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 148.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Tuttle struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 192.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Blanchard suffered a grim 28-7 defeat to Tuttle in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Rounsaville Jr, who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Now that the Lions know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
